Delivery Information and Returns
Please find below details of our delivery charges. Many couriers don't take items as wide as our Patterntrace paper, and we always use eco-friendly packaging. To make this work, we often cover part of the packaging and shipping costs ourselves.
UK Delivery Charges:
Orders £50 and Over:
- Free delivery for UK Mainland.
Orders Under £50:
- £4.50 for delivery to UK Mainland.
Affected Postcodes:
Guernsey
- All orders ship at a flat rate of £4.50. However, any order that includes a roll of Patterntrace Swedish Tracing Paper ships at a flat rate of £15.
Europe
- All orders ship at a flat rate of £9 or £12 (depending on EU country). However, for orders that contain a roll of Patterntrace Swedish Tracing Paper, shipping is a flat rate of £17.00. Shipping is displayed at checkout.

We strive to give you the best possible shopping experience, as such we
cover all EU taxes, custom fees and duties for orders up to €150 (excluding VAT and shipping). This means that the price you pay at check out is the final price you pay.
Update to Our Checkout Process for US and Canadian Customers
We’ve made an improvement to how charges are displayed during checkout. Previously, our flat-rate shipping charge included customs duties. Now, these fees are shown separately, giving you full visibility of what you’ll pay based on the items in your basket.
Duties, taxes, and import charges are pre-paid at checkout and will not be charged upon delivery. All orders continue to be sent via Royal Mail.
This new breakdown allows you to see exactly how customs fees are calculated and ensures a clearer, more transparent checkout experience.

For now, we’re unable to send Swedish Tracing Paper rolls to the USA via Royal Mail. We’re currently looking into affordable options so we can continue supplying our wonderful makers overseas with Patterntrace Swedish Tracing Paper.
Australia and New Zealand
- All orders ship at a flat rate of £20. However, any order that includes a roll of Swedish Tracing Paper ships at a flat rate of £35. Please be aware that you may get charged customs fees as we ship from the UK. Shopping via our Etsy shop will avoid this as Etsy collects overseas taxes at the point of sale.
Rest of the World
- All orders ship at a flat rate of £15. However, any order that includes a roll of Swedish Tracing Paper ships at a flat rate of £25. Please be aware that you may get charged customs fees as we ship from the UK. Shopping via our Etsy shop will avoid this as Etsy collects overseas taxes at the point of sale
- For customers in certain countries there may be a courier surcharge in addition to the standard delivery costs. If this occurs, we will notify you, and you will have the option to either proceed or cancel your order. This varies depending on global affairs and shipping pressures.
Delivery Process and Missed Delivery Policy Return
Your delivery will normally be dispatched to the carrier within 2-3 days (Monday – Friday). Our courier service will provide you with an estimated delivery window to ensure you're informed and prepared to receive your package.
In the event that the courier attempts delivery and finds no one available to receive the package, they will make reasonable attempts to rearrange delivery. However, should there be two or more missed delivery attempts, the customer may become liable for additional charges to cover the costs incurred for further attempts.

Return
If you change your mind and wish to return your items, please get in touch by emailing hello@patterntrace.com. Providing that the items are in a resalable condition we can accept the return and provide a refund once we receive the goods back. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer making the return.
Damages and Issues
Please take a look at your order when it's received and let us know immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If your order arrives damaged, please email us at hello@patterntrace.com within 48 hours of receiving it. Include a description of the damage and, if possible, photographs to help us assess the issue.
We will advise you on the next steps and how to return the goods, if necessary. We will arrange a returns postage label to be sent to you with instructions. Once we receive the damaged item, we will send a replacement at no additional cost.
