There's something special about putting a face to a name – it brings the people behind the scenes to life and adds a personal touch to what we do here at Patterntrace.

Our team is made up of passionate, creative individuals who each bring unique expertise to help you bring your sewing and dressmaking visions to reality.

Lauren
Director

Lauren loves nothing more than dressmaking and sewing her own clothes. It's not just about the pretty fabrics and the trendy sewing patterns though, Lauren also loves the the processes of planning projects, organising all her supplies and experimenting with sewing patterns to give her really unique garments.

As the Patterntrace Director and founder of Guthrie & Ghani, she is passionate about expanding our product range with the team to make the processes of sewing even more fun and satisfying. With her threads in her spoolpod, needles packed neatly into the needle store and noting down her project in the Sewing workbook, she's always got gorgeous guthrie & ghani fabric lined up for her next project!

"Patterntrace Swedish Tracing Paper gives you the freedom to create custom pattern pieces and toiles with ease—something unmatched by anything else on the market. It's a pleasure to work with, making the process of creating a toile just as satisfying as sewing the final garment." - Lauren

Vivvy
Customer Service & Orders

Vivvy’s career started in advertising and branding, where she worked with major companies on creative campaigns. After moving from London to Worcestershire with her husband, she trained in garden design and floristry, completing a business diploma in floristry at the Judith Blacklock School in Knightsbridge, London.

Her knack for creativity and organisation keeps our operations running smoothly, ensuring your Patterntrace experience is seamless and enjoyable.

"If you’re like me and focused on sustainability, the Pattern Storage envelopes are a must. I love that I can save all my patterns rather than re-buying or re-printing, so everything I need is safely stored, ready to go for my next project!" - Vivvy

Rosie
Customer Service & Orders

Rosie’s love for sewing began early, inspired by her gran, an accomplished quilter. After completing a Master’s degree in Philosophy, she spent lockdown immersed in quilting and sewing garments. With the support of G&G and Patterntrace, her dressmaking skills have flourished, though quilting remains close to her heart.

Rosie enjoys finding creative ways to streamline our customer service and order processes, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone.

"I’m obsessed with the Spoolpod because I love arranging my threads in rainbow order!" - Rosie

Gemma
Customer Service & Orders

Gemma’s creative journey with sewing began at 14, when she crafted her own prom dress. At university, she combined her interests in archaeology and fashion, even dedicating her dissertation to regency dress. Now, she shares her passion for sewing with our wonderful Patterntrace customers.

Gemma loves assisting customers with their queries, helping make each sewing experience as enjoyable as possible.

"The Garment Planner is my favourite—I love tearing out pages for shopping trips and planning my next make!" - Gemma
